Johnny Summers currently directs the Calgary Jazz Orchestra, and has been teaching students and running clinics over his musical career. Private music lessons offer students faster musical growth and development than traditional classroom settings. In-home instruction can encompass all aspects of the music experience, from theory and technique to performance and musicianship, and all lessons are customized based on each student’s needs and goals.

Johnny is available for instruction for the following:

Private lessons
Clinics and workshops
Classroom settings
Direction of school concerts and performances
For students with experience, Johnny is also available to teach arrangement, composition and production techniques.

Johnny is also available as a guest lecturer for your music program, and to teach clinics for schools and music groups. Any of Johnny's ensembles can also be included in your desired program for a teaching/concert experience for your group!
